Honey Cake
From Dad’s recipe book, page 39. Noted that it is “From Justin’s Class)
- 1 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1-1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1-1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cups (cooled) coffee
- 3/4 cup oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Mix all dry ingredients into lagre bowl. Make a well and add all liquid ingredients. Mix together thoroughly and add raisins and nuts. Bake at 350 for 45-60 min in a well-greased tube/bundt pan.
