From Dad’s recipe book, page 6.
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2/3 cup dry cocoa
- 3/4 tsp soda (Transcription note: I assume baking soda)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 x 12 oz pkg peanut butter chips
Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Combine dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in Chips. Either drip by teaspoonful or flatten 1-inch balls of dough with fork. Bake at 350 for 8-10 mins. Cool one min before removing from sheet to rack. Yield 5 dozen cookies.
