Reeses Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies

From Dad’s recipe book, page 6.

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2/3 cup dry cocoa
  • 3/4 tsp soda (Transcription note: I assume baking soda)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 x 12 oz pkg peanut butter chips

Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Combine dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in Chips. Either drip by teaspoonful or flatten 1-inch balls of dough with fork. Bake at 350 for 8-10 mins. Cool one min before removing from sheet to rack. Yield 5 dozen cookies.
