Meredith made Creamy French Lentils with Mushrooms & Kale from The First Mess (LOCAL^[@rev]).

She mostly followed the recipe with the following notes:

Didn't really follow the exact timing
Chanterelle and Baby bella mushrooms
Used roasted and minced dried garlic (but not powder) in place of the fresh garlic
Use better than bouillon, real milk, and regular (low sodium) soy sauce (plus extra to taste)
Sherry for the white wine

We also let it simmer for a long time since we were chatting with friends at the time.

We liked it. It was really good on top of an english muffin.

Notes for next time:

Blend it a little less so it looks less mushy
