Cod with Brown Butter Sauce -- back to top
We made White Fish with Pine Nut Brown Butter [New Food Fast] using (very, very old) frozen cod and pecans. Perhaps because of the age of the cod or because the pieces were of different thicknesses, we overcooked it, and it was very tough. But the recipe was easy enough. We will try it again.
Ramen and Korean Beef Bowls -- back to top
Caroline wanted cheap, junky ramen for her birthday dinner. Who were we to deny her request? We just added to it.
We made Korean Beef Bowls [Damn Delicious] with beef and scrambled tofu and served it with brown rice. I made the brown rice with Brown Rice Pasta Technique [The Kitchn].
Brooke made Boston Cream Pie for dessert.
