I originally made a double batch of Falafel on Saturday night with the intention of making Walafels/Fawafles. I followed the recipe as usual, except that I used a large sweet onion. That was a bit too much water and the dough came out very wet. Between the wet dough and overfilling the waffle iron, it made a huge mess, and didn't really cook. We decided we just didn't feel like it and saved the dough.

We made normal patties and Meredith made tzatziki.
