As I did before, I made drumsticks following Oven-Fried Buffalo Wings [Serious Eats]. I baked them for about 40 minutes which was actually a bit too long. I decided to wing-it¹ on the sauce. I made the sauce in a wider pan so I could mix it all there and cook it down. I like doing the sauce that way! But anyway, it was

• 2 tablespoons butter
• Half tablespoon honey
• Zest of one lemon
• Half lemon juice
• Three garlic cubes
• Crushed red pepper

Needed more sweetness and maybe less lemon? It was kind of bitter. But I liked the approach!
