Turkey Taco Skillets

This is originally from here^[@rev] but we've done it a ton of times and made lots of changes so I will incorperate them here

Ingredients

Fajita Seasoning

All values are approximate

• 1 teaspoon chili powder
• 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 teaspoon ground cumin
• 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Skillet

• 1 large onion, finely diced
• 3 bell peppers, finely chopped
• 1 - 2 zuchinni (optional)
• 1 to 2 lbs lean ground turkey
• 1/2 tsp dried oregano
• 2 diced tomatoes or roughly the same grape/cherry tomatoes
• 1/2 to 1 cup frozen corn kernels
• salt & pepper to taste
• Oil as needed

To serve

• Cheese
• Guacamole or avocado
• Cilantro

Directions

1. Combine fajita spices and set aside
2. Sautee onions, peppers, and zuchinni (if using). Salt as you go
3. Seperately, sautee turkey with salt and oregano . Drain as needed
4. Combine vegetables and meat
5. Add spices while mixing
6. Add tomatoes and corn
7. Simmer to combine all flavors
8. Serve with the acouterments
